Deck-Max offers two different biscuits:

The two choices are referred to as..

"The Pro Biscuit" & "Original Biscuit"

They have different applications simply based on - Pre-grooved Timber Decking with a profile in the board OR Standard decking with no profile inserted into the side of the board.

The Pro Biscuit - can only be used with the Deck-Max Pre-Grooved Decking which is available from our Stockists. This is the most advanced design in the world and is the same price as the original BUT MOST OF ALL it is very fast.

The Original Biscuit - is suited to the customer preparing a single biscuit cut into the side of the board. This biscuit is the same price as the Pro biscuit. Maybe suited to the DIY customer.

this is the "Original Biscuit" story...

• The "Original biscuit" was the first design of the Deck-Max range launched many years ago.
• On it's release it was a High achiever - Awarded the "Most Innovative product of the year" by Flooring magazine.
• The board requirment for this biscuit is different to the "Pro Biscuit"
  • can be pre grooved - but if you were to get it pre grooved SIMPLY get the "Deck-Max Pro" system
  • DIY home handyman could easily prepare the lateral groove with a biscuit cutter.
• The groove is cut with a 4mm blade and the actual specifications are included in the "Original" Biscuit installation sheet. SEE PDF>>

The difference

• the decking is can to be pre grooved / profiled to the Deck-Max specifications as shown in the photo's
• the installation is not as fast as the "Deck-Max Pro Biscuit"
• Suits some DIY applications - but still look at the "Pro biscuit" option
• price is the same as the "Pro Biscuit
