"A great letter from a Deck-Max customer"…

We were wanting to list our home for sale so we decided on a few specific areas of the home that needed some money spent on it so it will look it’s best. This included some painting, completing some unfinished jobs like the outdoor kitchen, pool landscape and some décor changes inside.

We were about to list the home for sale and set an open day with the agent - then looked at the deck as one of the areas that looked terrible especially after we had fixed up all the outdoor kitchen area and pool landscaping this was an oversight in our planning – SO we called in the contractor who laid the deck a few years ago and asked his opinion as to what to do and how much will it cost to make it look great.

To our surprise it was very little as he had laid the timber decking using the Deck-Max secret fixing which allowed us to call in a floor sanding contractor and he simply ran the sander over the surface and presto it removed any old stains and discolouring, as we had not re oiled it correctly and the contractor then applied his recommended decking oil and I swear it look’s as good as the day it was laid.

If we had not used the Deck-Max fixing we could well be up for a whole new deck and we certainly could not have run a sander over the nail heads to refurbish the deck.

The purpose of this note was to explain how pleased we were that a decision made a few years ago has paid off big time when we really needed it and in particular the cost was minimal to bring the deck back to life and it closed the sale when it counted – The buyer said to us they fell in love with the outdoor lifestyle in the design as the deck ran into the outdoor kitchen area and along side the new landscaping of the pool.
