Warranty

Deck-Max is a Proprietary system, which means Deck-Max must be installed as per manufacturers specifications.

This proprietary system is supported by an extensive independent testing process along with very specific quality control process to ensure the Deck-Max products will always meet the rigors and expectations of it’s customers and all building standards and specifications.

Do Not accept copies or rip off’s of this outstanding brand or product trade mark DECK-MAX.

Warranty  - The Deck-Max biscuit is covered by a 7 Year warranty that allows all builders and contractors to have the comfort that we offer them parallel warranty as per their building obligations.

. The wording below is a condensed version of the full warranty.

Out of Sight warrants to the Customer that the Goods shall be of merchantable quality, free from defects and fit for their purpose (including utility, performance and appearance) for a period of seven year

Replacement

Out of Sight agrees that it shall promptly, after notice from the Customer requiring it to do so, at its own cost replace any Defective Goods which are found by the Customer and notified to Out of Sight during the period of seven years from the date of supply of the Goods.  

Limit of Warranty 

To avoid doubt, it is the obligation of the Customer, at its expense, to supply the labour for the removal of the Defective Goods and installation of the replacement goods. 

The extent of Out of Sight’s liability for Defective Goods is limited to that of Clause 17(b) of the full version of the document. - and any further liability, to the extent permitted at law, is expressly excluded including any consequential loss. 

The warranty herein is avoided if: The Goods are not installed according to Out of Sight’s Deck-Max specifications, installation instructions and guidelines as notified on Out of Sight’s Deck-Max website; or 

The Goods are not installed by a suitably qualified installer. 

Warranty Claim 

If the Customer wishes to make a claim under the Warranty, the Customer must: 

make the claim to the retailer from whom the Customer purchased the Goods (“the Retailer”); 

provide to the Retailer, among other things, photographic evidence in support of the claim together with any other material reasonably requested by Out of Sight or the Retailer.
